We joined the project shortly before launch, rebuilt the website after an unsuccessful development process, and created a solid foundation for long-term SEO growth in Serbia. The result was an average Google position of 7 and more than 2,200 organic clicks.

SEO Growth for
THE STARTING POINT
The client approached us before the new website had been launched. A design had already been prepared in Figma, while a third-party development team was responsible for building the website.

We joined the project approximately halfway through development, when part of the website structure and functionality had already been implemented.

During the two months leading

up to the planned launch, we:

Analysed search demand for car detailing services in Serbia
Created a detailed website structure and sitemap
Assigned target search queries to relevant landing pages
Prepared a content development plan
Revised the functional requirements
Provided the development team with recommendations for SEO-friendly page templates
The original plan was straightforward: implement the requirements, launch the website, and begin systematic SEO growth.

Unfortunately, after the launch, it became clear that a significant part of the recommendations had not been implemented.

PROBLEMS IDENTIFIED AFTER LAUNCH
Once the third-party development contract had been completed, we discovered that the test version of the website had effectively been moved to the live domain without sufficient technical preparation.

The launched website still contained:

  • Placeholder and non-functional links
  • Incorrectly configured page templates
  • Technical errors and unfinished functionality
  • Indexing issues
  • Incomplete metadata and content sections
  • Improperly configured analytics
Continuing SEO work on such a foundation would have been inefficient. We therefore transferred the technical side of the project to our own development team and began preparing the website for launch again.

What We Did

Rebuilt the Technical Foundation

Our developers carried out a new technical audit and corrected the issues left after the original release.

The work included:

  • fixing internal links and technical placeholders;
  • configuring clean and consistent URLs;
  • removing duplicate pages;
  • improving metadata templates;
  • configuring robots.txt and sitemap.xml;
  • checking canonical tags and server response codes;
  • improving mobile usability and page speed;
  • preparing pages for proper crawling and indexing;
  • implementing the required structured data markup.

This gave us a technically stable platform that could support further SEO development rather than restrict it.

Created a Search-Driven Website Structure
Using Serbian search data, we developed a landing page structure covering the centre’s main detailing services.

Search queries were distributed across:

  • individual service pages;
  • comprehensive detailing packages;
  • exterior and interior care pages;
  • vehicle protection services;
  • local commercial landing pages;
  • informational content.

Instead of attempting to rank one overloaded services page for every possible query, we created dedicated landing pages for specific customer needs.

This improved relevance for both users and search engines.

Developed Commercial and SEO Content

Our involvement went beyond producing standard SEO copy. We helped create the website’s core content and commercial messaging.

We prepared and improved:

  • service descriptions;
  • company information;
  • the team page;
  • contact details;
  • the location map and directions;
  • key commercial benefits;
  • frequently asked questions;
  • booking calls to action;
  • trust-building sections;
  • internal linking between relevant pages.

The website needed to do more than rank in Google. It also had to clearly explain what the detailing centre offered, why customers should trust it, and how they could book a service.

In practice, accurate contact information, a working map, and clear booking options are often more valuable than another generic paragraph about a “personalised approach”.

Configured Analytics
To measure SEO performance and customer actions, we configured:

  • Google Search Console;
  • Google Analytics;
  • key events and conversion actions;
  • clicks on contact details;
  • indexing and search query monitoring.

This allowed us to track not only traffic growth but also how visitors interacted with the website.

Strengthened Local Search Visibility

For a local business in Serbia, organic visibility depends not only on the website itself but also on the company’s presence in regional search results.

We:

  • created and configured the company’s Google Business Profile;
  • integrated profile information into the website;
  • added the correct address, contact details, opening hours, and directions;
  • listed the company in relevant Serbian business directories;
  • arranged local brand mentions;
  • worked with industry forums and regional platforms;
  • ensured consistent business information across all online sources.

This helped connect the website with the company’s real-world location and strengthened its relevance for local searches.

Results

According to Google Search Console, during the SEO campaign the website achieved:

Following the technical improvements and expansion of the website structure, organic visibility began to grow steadily.

The most noticeable growth started in January 2026, when Google indexed the new and improved service landing pages.

By summer, the website was consistently receiving organic traffic from Google, while its average search position had stabilised on the first page of results.

Over the course of the project, the website progressed from an unfinished and technically unstable release to a fully functional local business resource with stable organic traffic and an average Google position of 7.

WHY THE STRATEGY WORKED

The result was not achieved through one isolated SEO improvement.
It came from managing the project as a complete digital ecosystem.

The strategy included:
  • rebuilding the technical foundation;
  • creating a structure based on real search demand;
  • developing dedicated service landing pages;
  • producing commercial and informational content;
  • configuring analytics;
  • setting up the Google Business Profile;
  • building local mentions and links;
  • aligning the company’s online information with its physical location and operations.

The project also demonstrated an important point: having a website online does not necessarily mean that it is ready for SEO.

In some cases, it is more efficient to stop, correct the foundation, and rebuild key elements than to spend months trying to optimise an unfinished test version that was moved to the live domain too early.

FINAL OUTCOME
We joined the project during the development stage. After an unsuccessful initial launch, we effectively prepared the website for release and SEO growth from the ground up.

As a result, the car detailing centre received:

  • a technically stable website;
  • a search-driven structure tailored to the Serbian market;
  • complete and relevant service pages;
  • properly configured analytics;
  • a strong local search presence;
  • an average Google position of 7;
  • more than 2,200 organic clicks.

The main lesson from this project is simple: SEO should oversee not only content and keywords but also the actual technical implementation of the website.

Otherwise, even a well-prepared technical specification risks becoming a document that everyone approved but nobody implemented.
